Hi, everyone. Just a quick intro. I've gotten back into quilting after a 50+ year abscence. Learn before I was 16..then life took over. But I'm back. My Grandmother, Mother & Aunts all quilted by hand.. but I'm Machine Addicted.. Found the site thru my blog hopping and immediately ran to the Sales Section.. Can't wait for my order to arrive. I'm a bit short of stash!! Working on my second ever Lone Star Quilt And tho I've not managed to get all those points to match, I am happy with the colors and will proudly display the finished quilt.

Welcome from Vermont. Love you blog. Your starburst quilts are great. I'm not brave enough to try one yet...still new to quilting and am working on my first quilt. Or should I say quilts as I have 3 in progress and two more in my head. All but one are for gifts so they have deadlines to get them done. The last is for me. Enjoy the forum!

Thanks for the welcome.. and vist to my blog. I chose the Starburst because it was a favorite of My Grandmother.. She had one on her Bed that I loved so much..but couldn't talk her out of it. And I found a really easy way of making them.. All done with strips and cutting.

I can't wait to build up my stash and get back into the 4 patches, 9 patches and 1/2 sq triangle blocks. I have my Log Cabin top done and waiting to be quilted. Just gotta find the right Backing Fabric. So much to relearn and so many wonderful fabrics to choose from!!
