Kinda new
Hi everyone
I've been a MSQC fan and follower for I guess 2 years now. I'm not a huge huge quilter but I do sew quilt tops.
My FAVORITE and biggest hobby is making flannel rag quilts. I use my duetta and embroider on the flannel squares. I like scrap quilts. I've made a twister and double slice, loved making those.
I have 4 sewing machines, newest one being Singer quantum Stylist. I have two brother machines, a Duetta 4500D Disney edition (bought 2005) and a basic thread yourself Brother I just bought yesterday just cuz it was cute and $80 lol
I'm a registered nurse (x 15 years) and work as a nursing supervisor at a local long term/acute rehab facility.
I love in Central GA. married 20 years and my only son turns 19 today!!!!! He is on day 3 of his first new job.
My hubby's birthday is the 27th this month. I've got his rag quilt all cut except the batting. I've got 16 days to finish it :-( yikes!!!!
Ilove sewing other things, dolls, bags, oven mitts, flannel kids pajamas, just stuff......and I'm BAD about having alot of PIGS!!! (Projects in grocery sacks!)
Oh...I love to cook while I'm sewing. I'm hoping this summer my DH will have our back porch closed in for my dream sewing room.
