Hello from Germany!

Hi! I'm a newbie here and I want to say "HELLO"!
I'm nearly 52 years old (next week!). I love sewing since a long time. In the past I sew mostly things like table-cloths, table napkins and and lots of decorations like hearts, birds and so on ...
In November last year I found by accident the tutorials from the MSQC. These are sooo great! I ordered fabric and now I'm learing by doing!
Hope to get some helpfully tips here in this forum!

I hope to be visiting Germany sometime next year-my son and his family are moving to the Air Force base in April. The will be there 4 years-so I trying to save my pennies for the airfare!

Hi from another newbie living in Scotland, as with you I enjoy the tutorials and presently working on the Big Star quilt, but downsizing the block. Sadly waiting for a delivery of my background material, as had not purchased sufficient and the shop I had bought it from is out of stock. Working on a simple log cabins to use up all my scraps whilst waiting for the delivery. Can.ay

Welcome from Michigan U.S.A. When my DH Terry was in the Army ( 1972-1973 ) we lived in Germany ( Munster b Dieburg ) for almost 2 yrs as a married couple (we were married in 1974 ....I spent 19 months there) .....Loved living in Germany. Would love to go back someday....DH Terry passed away in 2012, we had planned on returning to Germany for our Anniversary in 2004......Maybe in a couple of years I can go....would love to see it again!

I too, stumbled on this MSQC site.......I love it.....so many friendly people, with such awesome advice !
