    I'm new here.

    Hey y'all!

I'm Melissa (feel free to call me Melly, or "The Noob"). I'm new to the forum, and quilting. I had a slight obsession with wanting to sew for a few years, so I took the plunge in December and bought a Baby Lock Elizabeth. I have yet to actually finish a quilt, but that's ok. I'm taking a class so I have at least two hours each week to FULLY commit to the project. I'm a (mostly) stay-at-home mom and wife. To say that life is crazy busy during this season is an understatement. I'm sure many of you can relate. I currently live in McDonough, GA (home to a rockin' little shop called A Scarlet Thread), but will be moving to Lawrenceville, GA in the summer. Anyway, I'm glad to be here... and am wishfully looking forward to many, many years with this new hobby.

Much love and lots of good vibes,
    -MellyTheNoob
