    Hello from Nebraska!

Hello from the windy panhandle of Nebraska!!

A bit about myself. I am married to a great guy who gives me the opportunity to have lots of 'me' time. We have two boys, 14 and 15. They keep us running with activities all year long. I find I don't have much time to spend quilting, but I also know that the kids won't be here much longer so I am enjoying them as much as possible.

I have only made one queen sized quilt - hand quilted the whole thing. That was a gift to my fiance' 19 years ago. Since then I have stayed with much smaller projects. Lap quilts and wall hangings.

In my spare time, I like to read, cross stitch, quilt and scrapbook. Between the boys, working full time, being the secretary at my church.... I don't have too much spare time tho....

I have enjoyed reading your intros -- what a great thread!!!

Hello to you. I'm also in the panhandle of Nebraska and yes it has been extremely windy lately. All the more reason to just stay inside and quilt.

Welcome! I just want to say that I'm very impressed that you hand quilted a queen size! I wouldn't be quilting if I had to do things by hand, but I sure appreciate the quilts done that way.
