a newbie introducing herself

Hi all, I've had such an education reading these threads. I took a quilting course about three yrs. ago and never finished the binding.....had my DH set up my machine and table in our bonus room and I finally finished the binding on my quilt. Now I have the bug but I really don't know what I'm doing. \

I'm a retired banker who moved south to Aiken SC from the Cleveland Oh area. I have two horses, two dogs and a cat. You could say I'm an animal hoarder.

I ordered the Brother 420 yesterday from Amazon and it came today.... Wow that's fast delivery and it was free. Can't wait to play with it tonight. My husband is out in his workshop making me an insert for my sewing table that will fit.......
