Hello all...I am new from Northwest GA (near Chattanooga)

Not only am I new here but new to quilting and trying to get reacquainted with sewing all together. I have an old sewing machine that I picked up a yard sale quite a while ago. It has been sitting around here gathering dust until my 17 year old got interested in quilting now she is piecing quilts up a storm and I have been too...when she is not here, because she takes over the machine as soon as she gets home from school. She says I have to by me one so we can sew together.

I am so excited and wanting to learn.

Just wanted to say hello and I am so glad I found this forum!

How wonderful you have an interest to share with you daughter. Mine had no interest in sewing until the quilting bug got them while they were in 4H. Now all of them are accomplished quilters(even my DS has been known to sew)
