Hello, everyone!
My name is Renee and I'm brand new both to quilting and to the forum.
After talking myself out of trying my hand at quilting for several years, I decided that 2014 will be the year I stop doing that.
Eventually I hope to gain enough skill and confidence to complete a quilt using fabric and partially completed block I inherited from my Grandmother quite a while ago. There's no reason to leave those things sitting in their box, right?
I happened upon the MSQC tutorials on YouTube and was immediately drawn to Jenny and her demeanor. Something about her and the way she explained things made me believe that I could become a quilter too
I can't wait to start with a small project and build my skill set and eventually complete a Grandma quilt as well as something special with my son's baby clothes.
I'm anxious to ask questions and pick your brains for tips and ideas.
