Old Newby from Arizona

It's nice to be new for a change! I'm a retired school teacher, mother of 6, grandmother to 15, wife to my #1, and owned by 5 Boston Terriers. I love to sew, it has been my passion since 6th grade. My sewing machine went with me to Germany (5 times!), Hawaii, the East coast, etc. I can't leave my "friend" behind! I love to quilt and recently I took Jenny's course on Sympoz. It is a great class, tons of new ideas and great uses for precuts. Jenny has a new one but I've been buying too much wonderful new fabric to sign up for it. Retirement is the "pits" on my fabric allowance. Is there any Arizona folks on here? I live up in the mountains, NOT in the desert.

Hi Jujo, welcome from the mountians of Mexico and I am still in the desert. My younger brother lives in Flagstaf and loves it. this is a great place for those of us learning quilting and transfering garment skills to quilts. Have fun.
