My name is Joan, I'm a beginner and just love to read everyone's posts. I'm from the highest city in the US, Leadville, Colorado. We still have lots of snow!! Perfect weather for quilting.

Hello from Australia, Joan. As your snow begins to thaw, ours will be gathering in the wings. We live in the south of NSW at the foot of the Snowy Mountains. We have been having idyllic Autumn weather with crisp, golden days which has now turned to grey days and soft rain just to let us know Summer has ended. It was nice to hear that you live in the highest town in USA. Just up the mountain from here, our daughter and her family live in the highest town in Australia!

You will love it here on the Forum; great advice, lovely people and so much gorgeous work to admire.

A big welcome from Vermont. We have had record snows this year and I think they all melted today...flooding all over the place. At least spring is finally here. Glad you joined us. Would love to hear/see your quilting projects.

Hello Joan,

welcome from Germany. I lived in Denver for a year and I loved the snow you have there. While I was in Denver I started quilting (maybe because of the perfect quilting weather).
