You can order one deal of the day but if you want you can add other things to your cart and ship it all for $5.00 You can order an extra daily deal but at the regular price.
My grandmother also quilted and was my hero. I never quilted with her but she was such a fantastic person and I too would like to emulate her. Grandmothers are like that aren't they? She was a strong women who ended up raising 5 kids after my grandfather passed away from a ruptured appendix (not sure of the spelling, sorry). She was amazing! Hugs, Jan L

I wish I had been patient enough as a teenager for sewing. I could have learned a lot more from my grandma. Welcome to the forums!

I know what you mean onetiredmomma ! My grandma died in 1982 and had a whole closet full of fabric, I even think some of it was vintage, even then ! lol I did sew then but didn't quilt and was 12 years old and didn't appreciate all of that fabric ! I think my parents threw it all out ! ugh makes me sick now, but can't change the past !

well, thank you all for making me feel so welcomed to this community. i spent last saturday with my two crazy sisters, in bloomington indiana, we went to the quilt show and fabric stores, had lunch and just had a great time. good thing i don't live in bloomington with them, i would be homeless but i would have lots of very beautiful material...... i watched the video on the double hourglass. and i am working on this project right now. i have finished two klidascope quilts in the last 7 months. i think my quilt would have placed in the quilt show. didn't see anything like it up there. well, i better let you all get some sleep now. thank you once again. nita1136
