Hey we're glad to have you!! I agree with the blog keeping you on task! I've been away from my own blog for a week and a half! and I'm going crazy feeling the need to post I'll have to go check your blog out! I've been sewing for what feels like my whole life too. Barbie clothes never looked so good as when I was a little girl! And I think my own little girl is feeling the same thing! I love passing on the love of sewing to anyone who will try it! Can't wait to visit on the boards!

    New member intro

I live in Lakebay, WA, USA on a small farm. I have been sewing for 30 years or since Grandma gave me a needle, thread, and her scrap bag to make clothes for my Barbies. I have been seriously into quilting for only a few years and just recently discovered the world of online quilters and blogs. Whoo Hoo! I love picking fabrics and planning the quilts. I just wish I had more time to actually complete them, with the farm and family it leaves sewing to the night times. My major project for this year is to get a few of these UFO projects done. I only have a few months left to make my goals. Eek!

I I have made some very inspiring new quilting friends online, and they have encouraged me to start my own blog. It has helped with keeping me on task, as I feel I have to post some progress in the quilting department each week.

This looks like a fun place to keep track of more quilting stuff and learn some new techniques too. So let's give it a go!
