I live in Lakebay, WA, USA on a small farm. I have been sewing for 30 years or since Grandma gave me a needle, thread, and her scrap bag to make clothes for my Barbies. I have been seriously into quilting for only a few years and just recently discovered the world of online quilters and blogs. Whoo Hoo! I love picking fabrics and planning the quilts. I just wish I had more time to actually complete them, with the farm and family it leaves sewing to the night times. My major project for this year is to get a few of these UFO projects done. I only have a few months left to make my goals. Eek!
I I have made some very inspiring new quilting friends online, and they have encouraged me to start my own blog. It has helped with keeping me on task, as I feel I have to post some progress in the quilting department each week.
This looks like a fun place to keep track of more quilting stuff and learn some new techniques too. So let's give it a go!

I'll have to go check your blog out! I've been sewing for what feels like my whole life too. Barbie clothes never looked so good as when I was a little girl! And I think my own little girl is feeling the same thing! I love passing on the love of sewing to anyone who will try it! Can't wait to visit on the boards!
