    Hi all
My name is Debbie i live in Queensland Australia and i am new to this quilting game so you will probably see alot of questions from me. I have just started an I spy quilt for my grandson who is nine months old, this is all new to me and a little overwhelming but i have promised my work colleagues that i shall persist. The reason im starting on a spy quilt is that i received it as a secret santa gift and all i have to do is cut and sew it altogether so i will give it my best shot and hope to get some helpful hints.
    Cheers to you all
    Deb

Welcome. I am also a new member. I joined yesterday. You will love quilting. To me it's very relaxing. Something my mother always told me the only stupid question is the one you didn't ask.

Welcome, Debbie I'm from North Carolina in the good old USA. Glad to have you with us. I was going to make one of those quilts but found out it was going to cost more than I had on hand. LOL You are lucky to have a kit for one and your grandson is young and will have plenty of time to enjoy it. I think a "I spy" quilt is a great idea for a quilt. Lots of conversation starters and story starters too! Good luck and be sure to let us see it when you finish it! We love pictures! Hope to see you around, Sam
