    Hello from snowy Charlotte NC

    Hello All,

    I an a not so newbie. I quilted over 8+ years ago but got caught up in raising 2 boys, 2 dogs and a husband and working more hours. Quilting got put on the backburner. My oldest is off to college this fall and my youngest is in the 7th grade. Asked for a new sewing machine for Christmas and have been using the internet like crazy to refresh my knowledge. Love this forum!

    hey there! Y'all really did get a pounding last week, didn't you? Glad to see you here. I live in NC as well, just a few hours north of you, where we have had 5 snowfalls this year! That's a mess for us!

      Welcome!! We got nailed last week...in Alabama!! We didn't have school all week...thank goodness mine are going tomorrow.....
