Hi, I found this site on Facebook. Love the tutorials; they give me inspiration. I do more piecing than quilting as I send most of my projects out to be machine quilted. I don't consider myself very skilled at this but I enjoy it and love creating new things. I am somewhat of a gadget freak. I am quite sure that my sister and I were responsible for raising the price per share of the acrylic ruler market at the last quilt show in Paducah. I don't do much applique but am working on tackling some smaller projects. I would love to hear from any of you. Happy Stitching!

Welcome Irene!! I was a gadget freak when I started scrapbooking...now I"ve gone digital and have all these scrapbooking supplies and such and I never even use them!! So I vowed to not do the same thing with quilting. I am trying to go with the Alton Brown method of choosing tools - if you can't multipurpose them then they aren't useful. Now, I still get some tools (like the binding tool OMG!!) that are designed for a single purpose...but I really really needed it LOL...
