I have been quilting for about 4 or 5 years and I love it. I also work full time so can't devote as much time as I would like to my passion. Also I have found that I can't sew unless I really feel like it or I make way too many mistakes. So mostly sew on the weekends. I am building up quite a few kits in my retirement fund (about 4 years away). Have converted my master bedroom into my sewing/quilting room because it is the only room big enough to fit my 10' quilting frame. I use only a small Pfaff Grand Quilter with a 9" throat, but would love to upgrade to a mid-arm.

Hello Sandy!
Welcome to the group and please come back! You sound like you will definitely be ready for retirement - sigh. I don't think that is in the cards for me. Retirement that is.
Looking forward to seeing you back often.Sewing mends the soul.
