    oops!


    It has just occurred to me that i haven't properly introduced myself

    My name is Ann and iv been quilting for the grand old sum of 3 weeks.
    I live on that little island known as the UK in Britains oldest recorded town. 2000 years of history right outside my back gate! Gold star (quilted of course) to the person who can work out the name of my town (extra clue im in a roman town in a saxon county)

    I have 2 boys (3 if you include the husband) 12 & 14 who inconsiderately still live at home and refuse to share a room, move into the garage, or move out so i can have a craft room
    2 rescue cats (one only has 3 legs) who thankfully stay out of my stashbox, even the wool one!!! wonder if i can train hubby and kids as easy????

    well im off to unpick some quilting iv done as i didnt pin/stretch it enough

    Welcome...Ipswich. Do I win the gold star? We have a great group here. Some with lots of quilitng experience and some like myself with just a little. Sounds like you have quite the crew at home...human and animal. I am sure there are days when it is hard to tell which is which...lol. Anyhow hope to see on the site often!

            Im coming over in a weeks time to visit a friend for 3 weeks, im going to be staying in Glendora CA, Anyone know of any good fabric shops near there. or if anyone lives near there want to meet up for a coffee and a fabric shopping trip let me know
