Hi, I'm Julie, also from Michigan. I'm new to this forum but have been quilting for about 30 years. Actually, I guess it's 31 since I took my first class when I was pregnant with my son and he just turned 31.
I do all kinds of quilting. I usually challenge myself to learn or attempt a new technique at least once a year. Last year I did a foundation pieced quilt. This year it's a scrap quilt using the Tri rex rulers. In the next year I have to do a king size batik quilt for my stepson and his girlfriend who are going to be getting married. No wedding date yet but for a quilt that big I need a head start.
I'm the one who posted about ideas for favors for my November retreat in Northern MI. You gals came up with some great ideas.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone here.
