I'm quiltinanna and I am just joining this forum. I am from TX and have been quilting for about 16 years although seriously for about 2 years. I am a grandmother of 5 and husband of one who is a golf addict. Just recently we have cruised Alaska and meandered through 15 states. It was lots of fun and the countryside was so interesting. It is good to be home. Right now I have about 7 quilts started and ideas for 2-3 more. I love finding new patterns and new materials. I am glad to be here and hope to get to know you better

Re: Hello everyone!
Hi there!! Another Texan
I hope it cooled off wherever you live today. It was great here in North Texas! I know some people who went on an Alaskan cruise and loved it. Glad you had fun!! There's lots of resources for patterns that have been referenced here and the tutorials on the site are awesome!!Shelia

Re: Hello everyone!
Hey there and welcome! I'm also in Texas, North Central near the OK border and BOY! Did it feel like Fall today or what?! LOVED the weather! I'm a Newbie quilter and if it weren't for Jenny and her easy-to-follow tutes, I would still be wishing I could quilt! You'll love it here and can't wait to see your work, hope you'll share pics with us, soon!*HUGS* and Alohas, Bridgette
