I have been lurking for just a bit and finally joined your forum. I just thought I would say HI!
I have always loved quilts. My Grandma quilted and I learned some from her. Her favs were the hand embroidered quilt blocks. She really was my inspiration as well as my teacher, I just wish I had taken more time and learned so much more from her. I love to sew, and I am learning more with everything I do. I recently made a quilt for "Quilts For Kids", and it has really started an addiction. I now have another quilt top finished and another just waiting for me to decide on borders,1 is for our grandson Ace's' 1st birthday, and no recipient in mind yet for the other one. I did over estimate on the pieced border for the other quilt and am planning to make it into a Stacked Coins baby quilt--happy accident for sure. I hope to order another kit from QFK this fall as it was so fun and rewarding to make that quilt. Huge thanks to the MSQ gals for their awesome tutorials! I have soooo many plans for quilts and am looking forward to all you have to teach us!
