    New from Texas

Hi! I'm Judy and I live in Waco, Texas. I am VERY new to quilting. Been at it less then two months, and I am totally hooked. My local quilt shop offered a summer pass for unlimited classes from June through August for one flat price and I am enjoying the heck out of it. I'm a teacher, so summer is my time to learn new things. I finish my first beginning quilting class on Monday and I'm so excited.

I love this site and have found the tutorials to be fantastic!! Thanks!

I posted this on another spot because I didn't see this. I have in-laws in Waco. And in Tyler. My husband is a pure Texan...but I am pure Missourian. (That doesn't sound as good, does it? Ok, I'm pure hilbilly).

Glad to see you and you'll have to show pics of what you have learned.

Hey Judy and welcome! WOW! Looks like Texans are taking over the board! LOL! I too, am a Newbie and have only been quilting for a few months and am completely addicted! Because of our beloved and honoured, "Jenny, Queen of all" *worship bowing* I am able to quilt! I LOVE her tutorials and look forward to them all the time and refer back to them, too! You will LOVE it here and your class seems like SO much fun! Can't wait for you to share pics of your work!
