Hi, I'm a first timer at this forum and to sewing and quilting. I'm making a quilt for one of my grandsons for Christmas. I ran out of red fabric so made a friendship star in the middle of the quilt. Then to quilt it I sewed in the ditch around the star in the middle and then cutout a star out of freezer paper and sewed around it all over the quilt. That made stars on the back too. The back is a blue queen size sheet from the thrift store. Not finished yet. This is my first and I love it! Have learned so much while making it. Love Jenny's videos!!!! She is so good! Thanks for all the information on this site!!! Didn't mean for this to be so long! Sorry!

Not too long at all. It is nice to hear what you are making and how you are going about it. That's what we are all here for, right??!!

You'll have to get a picture or two of it once it is done and show us!
