I looked at my profile today. On the left side of the screen under my user name and picture it now says: Senior Member and 9 Patch Princess. How did I become a Senior Member, and what is 9 patch princess about? I am curious. I start my day here with my coffee before I head to the sewing room. It has become just as addicting as my coffee...LOL

Re: Member statis
Good Morning Mary
Your "status" will change with each new posting level you reach. Your status is by posts, not length of time you have been on the forum. I think that is how it goes; I don't mind being corrected.
Enjoy your coffee and carry it with you to the sewing room.
Blessings

Re: Member statis
When I first started I saw so many titled 'Guild President' and was overwhelmed with the number of folks that were on the forum that were, in my mind, presidents of their local quilting guilds, haha, I didn't realize it was a status level back then.sigpicMiss Sheri

Re: Member statis
Someone mentioned that the "senior member " status has to do with the amount of posts you post. Once you post a certain amount of "posts" you become a Senior Member.
AS for the (titles ) names " Block Queen " " Binding Belle" etc......I am not sure how this is done. There's other members ( Blondie, Bubby, etc. ) that do not have one of these " names" below where it says "Senior Member, Junior Member "......any suggestions as to why this some have these titles under the junior /senior member, and some do not ?
The one thing I wish everyone would do is to add their given name to their Profile, so that it's easier to identify someone. While some of the user names are cute, etc. I often feel funny about referring to someone by a user name .....Last edited by redcaboose1717; February 10, 2014, 07:14 PM.Jacqueline ( Sugar ) Dorer-Russell

Re: Member statis
The levels change based on posts up to a certain point and then they don't change anymore - you become a Missouri Star and stay that way no matter how much more you post (or don't). If I remember correctly, the Missouri Star is after 1000 posts, but I could be wrong - that was awhile ago for me...Lisa

Re: Member statis
That sounds correct.....cuz if you look at the other senior members that reach 1000 posts the "names" stop once you become a " Missouri Star"....
Thanks for pointing this out.....
It will take me forever to get to 1000 posts I'm sureJacqueline ( Sugar ) Dorer-Russell

I checked...I am a senior member and "missouri star".....what's next.. "antiquer" and "part of the woodwork"? LOL
I do think we need to come up with new suggestions ...we are getting more guys on here and I am sure they would prefer to be something other the Block Queen or 9 Patch Princess or Binding Belle....LOLDonna
