    Making friends

How do you ask someone to be your friend?
And is there an accepted etiquette to do this? Should I PM first to ask if its ok?? Or ???
May the road rise up to meet you...
May the wind be always at your back...
May you be in Heaven a half hour before the Devil knows you're dead...

    Re: Making friends

I think most everyone would welcome a new friend. I for one think you can never have too many friends. I think you just click on their name and it will bring up a list of things and you can add as a contact or maybe friend.

If you go to their profile there is an option right under their picture to Add as a Friend.

If you click on their name, choose add as contact, then on the next screen choose to add as friend. They will get a notification of a new friend request. You should have one from me now.

This is good information. I still consider myself new to the "forum" frame of mind. I just learned how to add a signature line so my name would show on my post (which was another thread that I learned it from).

                    Re: Making friends

Karen, underneath my profile photo there isn't anything that says "Add a Friend " etc.....is this because I am looking at my own profile ?
Just curious....While it says that I joined April 2011, I really didn't start doing anything with the forum until November 2013.....So, I am a newbie too ( sort of )

That's right. I said go to their profile, not yours. You should already consider yourself your own friend.
