How to post photos

I need help figuring out how to post photos. Thanks.

Just below the space where we write, there is a box that says "Upload Attachments." Click on that, then select the photo from your files. It takes a while to load. The the options will come up for thumbnail, small, med., or large. Click on the size you want, & it should attach to your post.

This is my cat Macska who is helping me sandwich my quilt The Garden Walk. In the second photo, you see that he has grown tired - I agree, it is hard work pinning a large quilt on a small table.

I want to post a picture of table topper I made. My DH took one for my aunt I made it for. How do I get the picture able to be posted? Have never posted photos before. Gina

Ok...first get the picture into your computer under your pictures. Now, go to forums, show and tell, and start a new topic. Under the writing part, there is a place that says upload photos, click on that, then it will take you to your pictures on your computer, find the one you want and click open, now it will appear under your text that you were writing and you need to click on small, med or large and that will put it into the body of the text.

Terry, I've never had any pictures on my computer. My husband, Jerry, has some on his phone. How do I get those to where I need them?

Not Terry but I e-mail my pictures from my phone to myself then download to the laptop

GeeGee. if you have an android phone, when you go to the galery place, and click on a picture, there is a little share icon at the bottom. click on that and it will show you icons of places to send. Find one for email. Mine is yahoo..an envelope thingy. Sometimes it isn't there and I have to go to the three dots for more and I find it there. Gmail is there too. Click on whatever email you have and then it will take the picture there and you will enter your email address at the top. It will ask you for a subject line. I sometimes use it and if I don't it will ask you if you want to send anyway, click yes. Then send. In a little while it finds its way to my computer and when I open the email, the picture is there.
Now you will click on the little bar at the right on the bottom of your laptop. (thats where mine is) and a menu will come up...Mine says...save as..click there. It should take you to the pictures place on your computer and a bar for you to type in the name of the thing you want to save. Then it will save it there. Now you are ready to go to the forum and post the picture.
