Hello to all, I'm new to the site as well. I have taken quilting classes in the past, I'm now returning to the joy of quilting so I could use any tips on tools I need for getting started etc. I'm also interested in knowing more about a block swap and possibly joining one.

Hello! So glad that you joined us. The Christmas block swap is well underway, and too late to join. Do you like to make ornaments? (That would be a plug for my ornament exchange going on right now on my blog. )

I am Hillbilly, and that is what I like being referred as cuz I'm weird. I've been quilting for 9 years, and I live near MSQC, but rarely get the chance to visit. Isn't that stupid??!!

If you've been gone for a while there are a lot of new tools and rulers and techniques. Watch all the tutorials and you'll know what you need to buy. When I tried to quilt before there was no rotary tools, no templates unless you made them yourself. you used chalk and a pencil and a regular ruler to cut materials with. Now it's a whole new world. And it's a lot easier. Good luck, Jan

Your name is very pretty I should of put more thought into mine..but Im sure in some indian language I would of been known as "Crazyquiltlover" or something to that affect LOL
