    Where is Pinkerville?

It seems like every online quilt shop except MSQC is carrying Tula Pink's latest line, Pinkerville. Why wouldn't M* carry such an incredibly popular line of fabric? Hopefully it shows up soon. I was hoping to use the last of my M* gift card to buy Pinkerville precuts and yardage, but while I wait it's selling out everywhere else. Oh well.

You would think that M* would carry a new fabric and also support a "local Missouri" designer such as Tula Pink. Both M* and Tula reside in Northern Missouri. I have recommended that Tula and M* collaborate for a tutorial with Tula and Jenny together in the past; and being a modern quilter, I would love to see M* carry more of her fabrics.....

I would say if you want it, get it where it's available. Disappointed to say that the shipping from M* has taken the pony express route and Tula's next collection would already be out by the time you received it.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

I think that's what I'm going to do.

M* seems to get new fabric lines from the major companies (Moda, Free Spirit, Robert Kaufman, etc.) weeks after everyone else. New product seems to be added very slowly compared to its major competitors.

I love M* for the tutorials, Block magazine, and the daily deals. I'll probably just have to buy modern fabric elsewhere.

Jenny did a quilt tutorial featuring Tula Pink fabric last year.....it's an awesome quilt to make.(I just purchased TODAY's DAILY DEAL to make this quilt.

You know, despite the fact that MSQC, the Doan Family & Tula Pink live in Missouri doesn't mean that their schedules probably run concurrently. Maybe they are both committed to other projects.

I think that MSQC and Tula Pink are both amazing. While I am saddened that the fabric line (Layer Cake) for the "Totally Tulips" Tutorial that Jenny did with Tula Pink's Layer Cake called "Tabby Road" IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE at MSQC.....However, there are fabric Yardage from Tula Pink: (MSQC has 118 Products from Tula Pink!!!

Tula Pink also has ALL STARS Pom Pom & Charm Packs here at MSQC :

Here's another food for thought if you are concerned about other Quilters who have shops or YouTube channels. The Midnight Quilter Angela Walters ALSO lives in Missouri ( Liberty MO to be exact.) I don't know if Angela & Jenny have done a tutorial together but I did see Angela & Jenny at a quilt show, (I think I seen it on YouTube) However I can't remember where I saw it.

          Here's Angela Walter's site:
(BTW...Angela DOES carry Pinkerville on her Store's Website)

I think all these wonderful companies that have went into business in the last few years are amazing. MSQC has come a long way, and when I think about MSQC not having a particular product line, it doesn't bother me much simply because perhaps the reason WHY MSQC might choose NOT to carry a certain thing could have to do with space availability or they have contracts with other fabric companies!!!
They (MSQC) might decide because other stores in Missouri carry the products to let the "other" stores (such as Angela Walters) carry the products MSQC doesn't for various reasons.

What ever the reason, I believe MSQC does a great job. While I have never been to MSQC (my dream keeps getting pushed back to go to MSQC due to illness) My parents and I have, in the past, ran small businesses and you can only carry so many item, due to space available. MSQC has built their tiny store operation into a massive business. They have 1000-2000 packages go out in the mail everyday....
Of course I suppose you could email MSQC and ask them to carry Tula Pink's "Pinkerville" line....LOL It couldn't hurt!
However, after doing this research I am going to purchase some of this amazing fabric. I really like todays DAILY DEAL as well. I have been trying to get back into every day things since being so ill....and I get it that it is going to take some time to get back to where I was previously.

I have been working with my sister as I previously stated who has been wonderful helping me to get back to where I originally was prior to being sick.

          Sherri I hope this helps!!!

I've noticed that there is a bit of a delay from when some stores get fabric in and on their website to when MSQC gets it on their site. If something's as super trendy as Tula Pink's fabric, just wait a little longer if you want to get it from MSQC.
