I know you all are very busy with your business but will you please update and delete which quilt kits you will not have back ! I know for a fact since you told me when I asked that you will not have summer in the park kit back in stock but it's still being offered I have clicked on more than 6 kits currently unavailable. I am guessing you will not be getting these back in stock so please delete them

Yes, I'm sure they are very busy with their business, especially since they just opened that new store for holiday themed fabrics. I was wondering how long the Christmas present option was going to be on the front page myself.
But we all love MSQC so much that I'm sure a few out of date links won't deter us. -

It would also be helpful if the wish list would show when an item is gone forever. They currently show as out of stock. I just removed three items that I have been waiting for that are no longer carried.Janet

I have some items in my wish list that have been out of stock for quite awhile too. How did you find out that some things are gone forever? First of all, they have no way of knowing what is on your 'wish list' unless they look at every ones. Not likely to happen. It is your responsibility to keep 'your' wish list updated. As a general rule once a fabric is gone, it is gone. The manufacturers do not do second runs of their lines. Your best bet would be to look at other options if you want something that is no longer being produced.Blankets wrap you in warmth, quilts wrap you in love

If it's out of stock, that doesn't bother me, I'd prefer they stay focused on getting my orders out the door in a timely manner they way they have been doing since I joined. If it's gone, it's gone usually. Not always, but usually. I can live with that. But, if I order it I want to get it asap. Stick to the focus being on that. As it should be.Comment

Many times, especially if it is a solid, the item will come back into stock. If you have it on your wishlist you normally receive an email when it comes back in.Originally posted by vchale View Post

Not trying to add fuel to the fire but I am sure its not that a person keeps clicking on the thing cause that would be silly to assume. Also silly to assume that we would expect MSQC to check our wishlists. Not the point at all. But if you have seen fabric.com's website they have a symbol/code that says NR for non-reorderable. That could help. Maybe they could start using a code system like that and just use it from now on perhaps? I have had items on my wishlist come back in stock and gotten an email from them but some items such as a pattern for example just never seems to be getting re-stocked. Wow...... I just though if if could show as out of stock , it could show as when no longer carried... Not a big deal, thought it was the purpose of squeaky wheel catagory to make suggestions. I love M*QC and have placed two orders just this week. :-)Janet

Do you use wish lists as shopping lists only or would you ever want to have a favorite fabric on there regardless of if you could currently or in the future purchase it? Like would you ever want to just do a collection of zebra prints for inspiration?Comment

I use the wishlist as exactly that. My wishlist. I revisit from time to time, maybe buy something on it, remove some things, like if they have been out of stock for a while or i fell out of wishing for it, etc. thay said, i will also add to my wishlists an item k want very much but its out of stock because I know I will get an email if it comes in again. I am rather satisfied with how it works and am totally aware once out of stock, it may not come back. Ilove my wishlistsKaren
