What is difficult?

Sewhot has demanded I make this forum a bit more user friendly. One of the things we're doing for you all (well especially for the new folks as they join) is we're making a series of how-to videos. All right around a minute or so long that will explain how to do some of the trickier things on the forum.

So think back and tell me what took some getting used to on here? What needs some explaining?

We've already got the following (When I say we, I mean Sarah needs these videos )

- How to post a picture
- How to register
- How to Private Message someone

What else?

It's so true, though. I so need these videos it's not even funny.....

I can never find the give away question. I found it once by accident but when I looked for it again it's just not there. How do I get to that page? Thanks in advance. Jan Luna

It has it's very own section in the forum. If you scroll down on the index page you will find it called "Weekly Giveaway aka The Fabric Free For All!". If you click on that it will bring up all of the weekly giveaway questions and then just look for the most recent.

I have found this forum to be very user friendly. The only issue I've had is finding topics I've responded to so that I can see if anyone else has commented on something. I can't seem to find a list of topics I've responded to. I know it's there somewhere, I'm just having trouble finding it.

I figured that out by accident. If you are signed in and see a green circle with a check mark off to the side, you have commented in that forum. Also if you look under Settings at the top of the page you can see what forums you have commented in and you can also be notified if you set it up there.

Not great instructions-maybe this could be one of the how-to-videos.

You can also get to it through your profile.

If you click on "My profile" at the top of the page and then look under your picture there is a link that says "Show all posts".

This will bring up a big list of everything you've ever posted so you can click on the topic to see if anyone has replied.
