what does the orange box with the white wifi lines are for?

    Hi
Just wondering what the little orange boxes with white wifi lines are for?
FYI the little 'home' icon needs to be darker, can only see front door.
    many thanks

I clicked on it and it's all encoding. I'm guessing it's not supposed to be there.

        RSS feed.....
TRUTH is seldom appreciated, unless you happen to agree with it. When you don't agree, you just call it rude.

That is the RSS Feed icon. RSS is an old school bit of tech that some browsers and special software use to let you know when there's been updates. This version supports RSS natively.

Some of my old tech friends (I'm an old tech, so I'm referring to former friends, not age) used RSS for years so they wouldn't have to chase down a bunch of different sites for their webcomics and forum posts. I never embraced it, but can very much see the use of it.

            Thank's all
so thats what it is, from your reply just been reading about RSS, never knew existed, or how to use, reading about it perhaps not for me at moment, but nice to know is an option, in the mad moments of time shortage. 👍
            have a great day👋
