fall retreat members, I have a question

I can't come for the whole retreat but would there be a way I could visit for a day? I wouldn't bring my machine or anything, just would like to meet you all.

We have had day visitors in the past. Last year, one came all the way from Australia. I'm not sure of the day visitor cost.

There might be a cost for a day visit since the food is catered in. Charyti will have to answer this one.

Feel free to pop in for a short visit to say “Hi” and meet everyone between the hours of 9AM to 5PM. Due to space, we are not able to have all day visitors staying. Because retreaters have paid to be there, anyone dropping by to visit will not be eligible for meals and retreat activities like the mini classes or trunk show. For space and planning purposes, we are not able to do one day passes but anyone who does want to attend for just one day can pay the $150 commuter fee which will give them a spot, a retreat t-shirt and participation in all the of the retreat activities including meals, trunk show (Monday night).

That $150 is for all 4 days of the retreat. It includes 8 meals, Jenny’s Trunk show (normally a $25 cost), retreat goody bag, retreat t-shirt, mini-classes, MSQC demonstrations, door prizes, some fun surprises, access to a full kitchen, cutting tables, irons and ironing boards, and all the other fun activities that are planned for the retreat.

When you registered, you gave your t-shirt size on the registration form. I will be using those sizes to order everyone's t-shirts.

For $150. for all 4 days that includes everything, I would go in a heartbeat if I didn't have to drive or fly there from PA. You all that do live close - wow, lucky you!! I'm not being a smartbutt, I really mean that. I truly wish I could go.

The $150 is a commuter fee. It does not include any lodging. It is for those that live close by or stay in a motel.

I went to the Glamper retreat as a commuter and had a great time. Stayed at the state park nearby. I didn't want to spend a lot of time at the fall retreat, just enough to get to meet y'all. Sounds like I can do that with no problem. Since I would probably grab a quick bite at the café, lunch wouldn't be a problem. I'm only 3 1/2 hours away so a day trip is totally doable for me. Thanks for all the info.

Gloria - Charyti said visitors were welcome! I don't see how this is discouraging anyone ... and sorry you took it that way. The only charge would be for someone who wanted to bring their machine or stay the whole day and eat and attend the events. So if you can make it I'm sure you would be welcomed ... as would anyone else.
