Bloc Loc Ruler is a YES!

I've been reading some posts here about this ruler and really never gave it much attention. After all how many rulers can one have? But I saw it at the Houston Quilt Festival and got it. They were demonstrating the pineapple ruler, but I bought the 6.5" HST square up.

So now I'm making a Hunter's Star and it's AWESOME to use when I'm resizing the HSTs to 2.75" It actually makes it a little fun!

Works very well for me too! I like the 6 1/2" size and you can square up smaller sizes with ease. This size is easy to maneuver and fits my hand.

I held off buying a Bloc Loc ruler for a long time because I have so many templates and rulers already. I always watch them demonstrated at the quilt shows but never buy. Then earlier this year they were on sale and I just had to take the plunge.

WOW what a difference it makes squaring up those HSTs ... and, yeah, that Bloc Loc ruler actually makes it fun.

I bought the 6 1/2" size as well. I use every time I have to square up HSTs!

Love the Bloc-Loc ruler! I also have the 6-1/2 size. I bought it when I started the 365 challenge and I love it for flattening out the blocks and squaring them.

Any ruler that can make squaring up fun is a must-have!

What makes the Loc Block more fun is your seem rests inside that grove and does not wobble on the hump when you cut.

When I made the PinWheel on point, that square up on that seam was a pain. But, with the Loc Block, no wobble. I am so glad I bought it too. I also got the 6.5 size.

I bought a set a couple years ago; 2.5, 4.5 & 6.5. I love them! Like kensington said, the seam rests in the groove and the point where the two fabrics join is perfect! I found that when using a regular ruler, I often cut off a bit more on one side than the other because of the ruler slipping.

I don't like single purpose rulers. I also have an Accuquilt.

Turning the block around and sliding the ruler up and down on the diagonal. I love my 6-1/2" regular CG ruler for squaring up and use that one all the time. It just seems way easier with that ruler to see what I am doing. Maybe I just never clicked with the learning curve of the Bloc Loc.

Love them I actually ordered a smaller one for splendid sampler , they in error sent wrong size. They gladly sent me the right size and told me to keep my wrong one. Great customer service
