Baby Lock Crescendo or Aria?

My LQS is having 40% off MRSP on their floor models. I am looking at the Crescendo and Aria. Thoughts?

I have the Cresendo and the only difference is the laser. Did you get a demo on it? Babylock is also having % financing right now too. I just got an email a couple of days ago.

I would also have them show you the walking foot. The thing is HUGE. I have a herd time changing it.

I have the crescendo , love it. But have never used the laser. The "stadium lighting" is wonderful. Yes the. Walking foot is large , but hasn't caused me any problems. If I was doing it over I would still get the crescendo. Good luck.

I will demo both on Monday. They also offer 0% financing for 18 months, but ends Tuesday. I will definitely ask about all the bells, whistles and accessories, including walking foot. Hopefully they will offer more accessories than usual. We will see. I particularly like the laser feature and stadium lighting. The older I get, the more light I demand. I buy 100 watt bulbs by the case.

I love my crescendo and use the laser guide alot making hst's has never been so easy and accurate. Do not use the sensor pen much tho.

I was wrong I do USE my laser light all the time, but NEVER have used the sensor pen, sorry. I do really like the laser light.

So do you think $3599 is a good price for the Crescendo? The Aria is $2999. Only $600 difference.

Lorie, I have the Ellisimo and love it........but I just bought the Tiara III and am having sew much fun with it...0% financing for a year and I am enjoying quilting some Linus Project quilts with it. I think the Crescendo is wonderful, too, but said when I traded up from an Elegante to the Ellisimo that I was DONE with new machines. Never say Never..DH went into the dealership and ended up talking to the owner and before I knew it, we were buying the Tiara.!!! NOW, I will NEVER buy another machine. I love Baby Lock

I think my Ellagante is going to end up at my daughters. She uses it more than I do. She's making 100 monster key chains for party gifts and I bought all the supplies for her to make free standing lace snowflakes, angels, hot air balloons etc. for Christmas I'm not going to see that machine until next year. lol

That is a good price on a Babylock. I have the Aria.

Well I did it! I am now the very proud owner of the Crescendo! You are right Hulamoon about the walking foot. It is HUGE - almost needs it own trailer! I haven't tried it yet, but eager to get started poking around with it and everything else. Yay me!

I can't wait! A little hard for me to mess with it during the work week as I drive 80 miles round trip. But I will be moving in the next 30 days within 2 miles of the LQS to take some free classes. My mind is whirling with ideas!

Well I did it! I am now the very proud owner of the Crescendo! You are right Hulamoon about the walking foot. It is HUGE - almost needs it own trailer! I haven't tried it yet, but eager to get started poking around with it and everything else. Yay me!

Yay! I got a regular Brother walking foot a bit after I got my machine.
