What I your favorite type of thread for piecing? For quilting?

Basically the style of my quilt dictates the brand and thread weight I use. My "go to" thread is Aurifil Mako 50 for piecing & quilting and I also like 40 weight for quilting. Love Superior brand threads too.

I use Gutermann 100% cotton for both. I use the type for the sewing machine.
