Any one have a cordless iron? I'm thinking about this one ...

I'm seriously thinking about getting a cordless iron. My old one, a Black and Decker, fell a few years ago and I can no longer use steam - did not really use steam any way - I like using a spray bottle with a fine mist.

But I get really irked sometimes by the cord getting in the way and wrinkling the fabric. So, does anyone have a cordless and could you list the pros and cons of one - pretty please!

I have a friend who swears by hers (not sure what brand though) but she has had to replace it twice because the reservoir is plastic and tends to melt after a while. I've used it at Kwilt kamp and liked it.

My DH Got me the Panasonic cordless for Christmas and I don't think I will ever go back to a corded iron. I love it. He also got me a wee little palm sized craft iron from Amazon which is nice to have right next to me for quick jobs.

I just got a Panasonic 360 cordless!! I'm in heaven!!! It doesn't get as hot as my old iron but it gets hot enough to flatten those seams perfectly!! No cord is amazing!!!! image.jpgimage.jpg.. The steam works great too!!!

Thanks for the positive reviews! My DH has given me the go ahead on it but I wanted to know if any one was having problems. I don't really trust reviews on the product website because they might not be "honest" reviews if you know what I mean.

My husband jut ordered this one for me. After me complaining about the cord always being in my way and him having to hold it up he said time for cordless. This is what we found and ordered. It has great reviews and from quilters Too!!! Can't wait for it to arrive!

You guys talked me into buying that iron. My iron's water tank broke when it fell on the floor one day, so I was in the market for a new iron.

I think you will really like it. I agree, you can't trust the manufacturers reviews, those are advertisements--but Amazons reviews are pretty accurate and honest I think.
