    Sew one and you're done

I bought a book with a great title and a brilliant idea - Sew one and you're done. One block, hugely upscaled, so all you need is one block and you get a lap quilt size top. So what's the problem? Well, apart from being unimpressed with the dull colours used in all the patterns, the sizes are off and it doesn't actually work. I spent three days working on the centre of a block and in the end, I gave up. Doesn't work.

Welcome from Colorado! Glad you joined us here. It sounds like you have a busy life being a care giver. Quilting has been a life saver for me. I'm care giver for my DH. It's something I can do at home & be "present" with DH.
