    Scrappy quilt

Does Jenny have a tutorial for the scrappy quilt behind her in the row by row license plate tutorial from this week?

Jenny hasn't done a tutorial on scrappy quilts that I know of. May I suggest you google scrappy quilts.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!

You can make almost any quilt pattern scrappy. Have you surfed Marcia's Quilters Cache web site? There is a Jacob's Ladder quilt that was done scrappy. Browse through the quilt pics that are posted there. Every block pattern listed there has pics of either the blocks or the completed quilt. I recently made a Bonnie Hunter Carolina Chain scrappy quilt. I watched her YouTube tutorial to observe her sewing method. The chain piecing goes pretty fast when you have your pieces all cut, laid out & organized. (See my albums.) I think Bonnie Hunter is the queen of scrap quilting.

Yesterday's blog post is Jenny making a zipper bag with a Row By Row license plate. The quilt behind her is a crazy quilt, probably an antique. She did do a crazy quilt tutorial a long time ago.

Thank you ladies! My great grandma use to take cotton night gowns and make robes out of them in this "crazy quilt" style, including the stitching over the seems which she called "laying track." I have been wanting to make one and got excited when I saw the sample hanging behind Jenny.
