    MSQC quilting service

I'm planning to send my first quilt to MSQC for quilting. I filled out the form, but am wondering if there are any other particulars I should know before sending it. Thanks in advance for any help.

You will get more details and the address to ship the top to in the conformation email you receive from M*.

    H - is it HELPFUL?
    I - is it INSPIRING?
    N - is it NECESSARY?
    K - is it KIND?

      Just the typical info,
Make sure you have at least 4 inches of backing larger all 4 sides.
If you want you quilting to show pick a color thread to Pop on your quilt, if you want it to blend, pick a lighter color or primary color in your quilt.
if you are not sure what you want, ask for quilter's choice in your notes, tell in the what you are looking for, when the quilter loads the quilt they can see what can work best.

Good luck and enjoy your quilt!
      Happy Quilting

I've sent in quite a few tops and did just that; put in my notes what I was looking for and left the color choice up to the quilter. Every single one turned out better than I could have imagined.

I didn't know you could put "quilter's choice" in the notes. I'll have to keep that in mind in the future. I'm anxiously awaiting the return of my first quilt from them. I sent it on June 5 so hopefully it should be soon!
