    Truly, if you are not sure, write quilters choice. Just let us know to blend or pop. And send it in!

    I love using variegated threads when there is lots of color going on.

    I'm surprised at you Sandy! You didn't tell her there is no 'standard in deciding thread color'. (haha.)

    Tia-Sue - what Sandy suggested sounds good to me! Or, you could choose a color you like - such as the royal blue on the sashing or even one of the colors in your border - I'm sure whatever you choose will look great!

    Choosing a Thread Color for Quilting

    I am getting ready to send in an I Spy quilt top and back to be quilted. I can't decide on a thread color. I used the large jar pattern so there are white backgrounds in many of the jars. The sashing is a royal blue. Piano key border is a wide variety of color. The back of the quilt is an overall pattern on dark navy. Being new to quilting I don't know if there is a standard when deciding thread color? Any suggestions are appreciated!
