Request for a Honey Bun Pineapple quilt tutorial

I Keep thinking that the Honey Buns would make a perfect Pineapple quilt. I think that I would only need extra material for a starter square and finishing corners. The rest would be honey bun strips.

Am I thinking right?

This would be really easy to do with a honey bun. Pineapples look really much more difficult than they are. Trust me, if I can do one, anyone can. It is just going in rounds. Let me think about this and look through my scrap bag today.

A honeybun would be a great use for a pineapple quilt! What a great idea. I have one that I haven't been able to decide what to do with. A pineapple just might the the answer. I have a paper-piecing pattern for making pineapple quilts. I've never done it any other way. I bet there must be patterns on line somewhere for paper piecing.

The very first daily deal I bought was a honey bun. I didn't realize at the time that the fabric was Christmas prints and I've been fussing about trying to figure out what to do with it. I think a pineapple would be just about perfect.

When i made mine i used jelly roll strips and yardage so a different method - this looks like a fun method too using only strips - hummmm will have to give a try think the really wilder prints in super bright colors will be awesome...... after the wild and star and summer swap blocks and and and and.......

NOTE: will need 2 honey buns or jelly rolls - one print and one solid......... YAY!! its going to be fun and pineapply!!
