    Playtime 30's charm pack

I have four Playtime 30's Charm Pack. Any suggestion on what to do with them? What kind of pattern to use or what MSQC tut. to make?

I have heard Irish Chain suggested before for 30s patterns. I have a bunch of 30s fabric and am making a reproduction of the vintage quilt I linked in this post:

Of course you could also make any pattern you like with charm packs! Karen's user notes link to all the M* tutorials if you want to see the whole list

If you are new to precuts and or quilting, I recommend the "Falling Charms" quilt. Four is an awful lot of charms though, I'd make two of them with that many Charm packs. I plan to use 2 in each of the Christmas quilts I am making and I used 2 to make this one... 014 - Copy.jpg

I think I will try this. What size did it turn out to be?

I would love to try a Irish Chain. Post a pic of yours when you are finished!

              71x71 inches square.

Here is a link to the video, it's easy to follow, just get that first few blocks going the right direction and it comes together nicely.

How big a quilt would two charm packs make?

84 squares could be laid out in an 8 x 10 pattern. Just charms sewn together in 8 x 10 would be 36" by 45". With 4 squares left over.
