    Original Jacobs Ladder

    I found the YouTube tutorial of Jenny doing the original Jacobs Ladder pattern in Red and White but unfortunately I do not see how much fabric I need to make one of these. I want to do a Black and White (or Gray) one for Christmas.
    OR if someone has a better suggestion for a black and white/gray quilt..... It's for a boy

    According to the back of the pattern, 1 roll of jelly strips and 3 packages of 5" squares, and inner border of 3/4 yard, outer border 1 3/4 yards.

    For a baby you may not need it to be 77" x 89".

      Maybe try some children's prints,
      they have some great colorful prints
      For boys. Does he have a hobby?
      Love dogs/cats/cars? There's an endless
      Possibilities for children. Not just dull
      colors or dull solid colors anymore.

        The reason I am doing black and gray is because it is for a 9 year old whose favorite color is black.

              Well it looks like the quilt was a hit! He told his grandma - "I like it - it's just like me!" Whatever that means!!
