What's good to use for drawing temporary templates on the top of quilts that will be hand quilted? What is a good thread to use as well as other products? Thanks for any help.

Re: quilting pencil
We have a variety of different pencils that would work well for what you want. Look here: http://www.missouriquiltco.com/catal...pencil&x=0&y=0
The thread we like to use is either a mettler thread or guetterman! You need to be sure to purchase 'hand quilting' thread!
I hope this helps!

Re: quilting pencil
I use a chalk pencil. I would recommend (just like sewing machines) that you try out a few different styles and then go with the one that works best for you. Be aware of how the pencil/chalk is removed...some are set by heat so you can't press after using it...some are air soluble so the lines will disappear...some you need to blot with water to make the lines disappear.Michele
