    Quilt ruler

Do you have the newly released Twister tool quilting ruler by CS designs that I hear others talking about? One will make a 10 inch block the smaller one for a 5 inch block. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks

This sounds really cool. You could make layer cakes when you can't find one to buy.

I have one for the layer cakes. I haven't used it yet, but a couple of ladies that's in a quilt club that I'm in one of my local quilt shops has used it looks really fun. I want to get the one for the charm packs as well. As soon as I use mine I will post pictures.

        Happy Quilting

That's not the purpose of the ruler....here is a great tutorial on ModaLissa.....

I think that it creates waste though....and you can accomplish a similar block without all the double work can't you? But a great tool for the tool obsessed!!

Thanks for the info Lynne and Michele

I looked for one at the quilt store yesterday and they didn't have any. That blog post was a good link to see it in action.

If I make a quilt I ain't never cutting it back up to make another quilt I have to add more fabric to. Don't bother getting the ruler for me sewhot. It is a waste. If you want a pin wheel quilt just make one. LOL

I'll pass after seeing the video I'd have a big problem cutting up all of my hard work.
I'd also have a problem wasting that much fabric. But thanks for getting back to me, Sewsoft.

I have the ruler. It does leave you with more waste than just piecing pinwheels. I made my profile picture with it. It is a a small table topper. I'm a gadget freak so I'm ok with it.

What a neat looking piece. I am still on the fence. I am a gadget freak and like shortcuts. I have tons of scraps so extra waste would still be used in some form or fashion here. Perhaps Santa would like to know . . . .
