Re: Quilt ruler
I have one for the layer cakes. I haven't used it yet, but a couple of ladies that's in a quilt club that I'm in one of my local quilt shops has used it looks really fun. I want to get the one for the charm packs as well. As soon as I use mine I will post pictures.
Happy Quilting

Re: Quilt ruler
This sounds really cool. You could make layer cakes when you can't find one to buy.
I think that it creates waste though....and you can accomplish a similar block without all the double work can't you? But a great tool for the tool obsessed!!Michele

Re: Quilt ruler
Thanks for the info Lynne and Michele
I looked for one at the quilt store yesterday and they didn't have any. That blog post was a good link to see it in action.

Re: Quilt ruler
If I make a quilt I ain't never cutting it back up to make another quilt I have to add more fabric to. Don't bother getting the ruler for me sewhot. It is a waste. If you want a pin wheel quilt just make one. LOLHome, where each lives for the others and all live for God! ><(((((o>

Re: Quilt ruler
I have the ruler. It does leave you with more waste than just piecing pinwheels. I made my profile picture with it. It is a a small table topper. I'm a gadget freak so I'm ok with it.
