    Hello everyone

How much yardage would it take to make 2 layercakes. I want to make the circle quilt and can't find layer cakes I like, but I have found fabric on your site that I would love. It would work so well with my layercakes I already have. Please help, Hugs, Janluna

    Re: Hello everyone

I'll walk through the math here and see if we agree. A layer cake is 10x10. So in a strip cut 10"x wof you get 4 pieces. To get 1 layer cake you need 100", 2 layer cakes you need 200". So the length of fabric to buy is 5 & 5/8 yards. That should give you 2.5" to use for squareing up the edges. Does that sound right to you too? Happy cutting!
