Does anyone know of a good quilt shop in DC? I haven't found one I like yet. I'm looking for one with with the same feel as MSQC.

Every quilt and yarn shop has its own personality. So don't expect a match with MSQC. You can explore quilt stores in Burke, VA, Fairfax, VA, Manassas, VA and Warrenton, Va, plus; Gaithersburg, MD. Just depends on how willing you are to go out of your comfort zone. There will be a shop hop soon, I think early Novenber when quilters will get out and explore. So you can put some mileage into to your personal research. -

I looked up the web site for the Quilter's Quest for you. It has an interactive map. Let me know if you are going to take advantage of the shop hop to be come acquainted with the shops, the materials and the personnel. It should be fun as I know they are preparing special items for the tour.
