Just wanted to let everyone know that my surgery went very well yesterday. The Dr feels like the entire tumor was removed, it had not spread and he only had to take the one lymph node (which is standard procedure). We were back home by dinner time. I was in a little pain during the night, but this morning, other than this danged compression bra, I don't even know I had anything done.
Monique keeps telling me to rest for a couple of days and to "milk it for all it's worth" and believe you me I'm taking her advice. Sitting here with my coffee, waiting for my soft boiled eggs to be served by my private nurse, who strangely looks exactly like my DH. Both lunch and dinner are arriving via our son and a friend.....life is good right about now!!!!
