Hello, quilty friends! It's been a while, but I've been crazy busy. Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas. As you know, my DH serves as pastor/principal at a Christian school. Last week, the school performed its annual Christmas concert and Nativity play.
In the second scene, a shopkeeper is telling his customer that he is low on inventory because the Magi had come the day before and cleaned him out of stock. 7-year-old shopkeeper says, "I'm sorry sir, but we have no frickin' sense, and before you ask, we're out of myrrh, too." He ratlled off the line so quickly that at first I wasn't sure I heard right, but I looked at my son (who was sitting next to me, and whose daughter was in the chorus), and he starts laughing uncontrollably...
I feel your pain, kid. SOML.
Happy New Year, dear ones!
