View Full Version : Jenny's Sewing Machine in latest tutorial?

Did anyone notice Jenny used a different sewing machine in the Scallop City Quilt tutorial last Friday? It was smaller, didn't have the extension table on the side, didn't sew as fast as Jenny usually sews, etc. I'm wondering if it's one of the machines they now sell, the EverSewn Sparrow? Is Jenny no longer a Baby Lock dealer?

I was wondering this as well. Love my Babylocks. Heard these new ones are pretty good though.

I was in Hamilton a week ago. They are still selling Babylocks but wanted a line of machines that could be sold on-line (Babylocks cannot be at this time.). Therefore, they are now carrying EverSewn for on-line ordering. Shipping is free and you get Quilter’s Cash!

It's a new line they carry. Her Dil misty did a streaming live on them earlier this week. You can find that on YouTube. There are four different machines, in various sizes and specs on them...

Jenny still uses her Babylock, but they can't sell them online, just in the Shop.... they wanted machines they can sell online.

Watch the liveStream video to see all the differences in them.

I hope it works out for them. Sometimes growth is not a good thing. I think we get trusting people we see on line and we think that the products they use surely must be the best. Its like celebrity endorsements. I have become leary of this practice

My local sewing machine store sells this machines along with Bernina machines. I was looking at one as I don't want to lug around my regular Janome as it is heavy. It appealed to me as the feet from my Janome fit this machine. Thought that was interesting.

So what size is it? 7mm or 5mm? I wonder then if it is made by same people

I wish more machine companies would put the rpm's more plainly,,, being spoiled with my Janome 1600,,,, i get a little frustrated when i go to my Tuesday quilting and have to use my portable... IF ONLY someone would build that larger motor into the compact machine.. don't care about all the "stitches".. just need the strength and speed... especially for strip piecing and putting blocks together...
If anyone know of a portable that doesn't cost 500.00 and does more than 800 rpm's please let me know:)) GB

Haven’t I seen Leah Day using the same machine, I believe they are for sale on her site also. Sure I have seen them on a couple of other sites too.
